Prickly Pear is inspired by the wild cacti of Chile. Covered in spikes it is nearly untouchable by the human hand. The cactus appear as living sculptures from afar, but when up close, reveal themselves to be a haven for bees and insects of all types.
Bethany hand painted these characters like she does with all her designs with Gouache.
Each artwork is originally hand painted by Bethany then digitally printed with the latest Canon Image Prograf 6000 printer with optimised hardware, software and ink technology to reproduce artwork the way it’s intended, and to ensure you get the highest quality and best possible finished print.
These digital prints show every detail of brushstroke and layer of paint as if it were the original artwork itself.
