I have always loved wisteria, the colour, the smell and the way the flower drops so elegantly from the vine.
When we bought our house, being a lover of plants, I wanted my front porch framed in Wisteria. So I planted a beautiful oriental variety, only one problem, it refuses to flower! Years now have passed, our house is beautifully framed by the lush vine but with now flowers insight. So I decided to be positive and celebrate the beauty of this vine without its famous flowers.
The result I think is very elegant and once again makes homage to Chinese chinoiserie.
